La’Bonnae Kea, MS, CMP is an Event Strategist and Producer who works with organizations to solve business problems using well organized, creative, and memorable events. She believes event execution is key, but driving business value is mandatory. 


Kea has built her career perfecting her event management approach and portfolio development for large nationally recognized brands like Autotrader, Sundance Institute, SXSW, and Novartis. In addition to her work in planning and producing, she actively consults Franchisees for Chick-fil-a, spearheads event portfolio development for Atlanta-based lawyer organization, Arc of Justice Institute, and teaches event management to up and coming industry hopefuls at Kennesaw State University. 

La’Bonnae is a Certified Meeting Professional, and is currently a candidate for the coveted Project Management Certification. She has shared her expertise and industry learnings by participating on numerous industry panels, being a feature on online blogs, and through the development of original content for a variety of social media platforms.​

She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from Valdosta State University. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Leadership Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Known to most as a certified industry professional, professor, and advisor, the title she is most proud of is that of Aunt/Godmother to five beautiful nieces and two fantastic nephews. She aims to continue to impart into them a belief that she holds true to herself “There is an entire world out there waiting for you to be your best self!”
