Mary-Beth Brophy

Mary-Beth Brophy has a BA in motion picture production from Brooks Institute of Photography, an MPW in dramatic writing from the University of Southern California, and a PhD in creative writing from the University of St. Andrews. She has been a contingent educator for 16 years, both in a traditional classroom and online. She has developed multimedia learning materials for a variety of purposes , including webisodes, podcasts, and websites. She currently teaches at Ocean County College, Rowan University, and the University of Phoenix, and is a member of the Modern Language Association's Committee on Contingent Labor in the Profession and the executive council of the MLA forum on Part-Time and Adjunct  Faculty Issues. She is also the author of several books, including the novel, Mayor of Hollywood.
