NeCall Wilson currently serves as a career coach for Management with the Hughes Leadership and Career Program, and she is also a Marketing Professor of Practice at Kennesaw State University, Coles College of Business. NeCall is a certified managerial coach (CMC). Since 2016, NeCall has served as an ongoing Coach for the KSU Executive Master’s of Business Administration Program.
NeCall believes that strategic career management should be an individual and consistent priority. Each student can start with a clearly defined strategy and continuously build toward a lifetime of learning and career success. She consistently strives to coach students by actively listening and encourages their creation of a realistic career action plan. NeCall has hands-on experience as an executive recruiter and clearly understands the complexities of hiring top talent (hiring manager or client), as well as what is required of management and entrepreneurial students.
With over twenty-five years of progressive and international corporate experience, including over 16 years at Verizon, NeCall has also been recruited and employed for her exceptional international business acumen and technical consulting experience by IBM, NCR, and AT&T. As a counselor, NeCall previously completed rigorous training prior to serving two-year terms as both a Wake County High Risk Youth Intervention Counselor and a Human Rights Advocacy Council member in North Carolina.
NeCall has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a triple concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, and Computer Information Systems from Campbell University. While at Campbell University, NeCall completed an internship in television. NeCall completed her Executive Master’s of Business Administration (EMBA) degree at Kennesaw State University, where she received the 2016 Dr. Ed Montana Leadership Award. While in graduate school, NeCall completed an international residency and a human resources internship.
In addition to currently serving as a co-chair for the Kennesaw State University Presidential Commission on Race & Ethnic Diversity (CORED), NeCall also serves as the university’s program manager for Women In Technology Campus (WIT). NeCall is the Parliamentarian Officer for the Part Time Faculty Council (PTFC) at Kennesaw State University. She frequently assists with both the annual KSU National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC) and the Symposium on ASIA-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO) conferences. NeCall is a lifetime member of the prestigious Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and a member of National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
