She attended Savannah College of Art and Design in the pursuit of a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Master of Arts in Animation, both of which she obtained in 2011. Since graduation, Sandee has been focusing on strengthening her teaching methods and personal work.

Growing up in Southern California, she became inspired and influenced by the pop culture media that deeply saturated her childhood environment. Sandee earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Entertainment Art with a concentration in Animation from California State University, Fullerton. Having lived on both the west and east coast her art melds the sentiment of the layback surfer lifestyle of the west coast with the rich history that comes with the experience of living in the south and on the east coast. Her professional effort revolves around creating art and assisting others to create visual imagery that inspires and captures thoughtful interest. Sandee works in traditional and digital media and believes artist go through many chapters in their creative experience with each chapter offering new challenges. She is very inspired by well-crafted storytelling produced through the medium of film, illustration, and sequential art. Sandee is most inspired by observing life, which is why the discipline of animation captured her interest at an early age. Her work has been shown in national as well as international galleries and film festivals.
