DMCA Notice
How to report copyright infringement and file a counter-notification.
1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice
Spaceducators respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid notices of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512.
2. Reporting copyright infringement
A valid notice must be in writing and include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a full URL is best
- Your contact details: name, address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the owner's behalf
Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages.
3. Designated copyright agent
Send notices to our designated agent:

4. Counter-notification
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address and telephone number
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, and that you will accept service of process from the complainant
5. Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.
6. Good faith
We process notices and counter-notifications in good faith and in accordance with the DMCA. Nothing here constitutes legal advice on your rights or obligations.
